Anticipated program topics:
- Companion Animal Emergency Procedures and Critical Care
- Lecture topics to include stabilizing animals during shock triage, dealing with blunt force trauma, approaches to respiratory distress, and others.
- Optional Wet lab will feature hands-on practice with thoracocentesis, placement of chest, nasogastric, and oxygen tubes, among other emergency-related techniques.
